IUHD students successfully competed at 3rd International Olympiad on Financial Security

On October 2-6, 2023, the Third edition of International Olympiad on Financial Security was held in Sochi city of Russian Federation. Students and schoolchildren from 19 countries of the world took part in this edition of the international competition. Along with Turkmenistan, there were teams from the Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Armenia, Brazil, India, People's Republic of China, South Africa, Algeria, Venezuela, Vietnam, Islamic Republic of Iran, Cuba, Namibia, and Pakistan.

Based on the preliminary selection stage, a group of 10 students representing higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan represented our country with the participation of representatives of the Financial Monitoring Service at the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

Four students of the International University for the Humanities and Development Begli Berdimyradov, Novruz Nurberdiyev, Yakup Nurmuhammedov and Merdan Muradov and the students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and the Turkmen State Institute of Economy and Management won the right to participate in the final stage of this international competition, and they performed in four areas of preparation. The competition was conducted in the fields of Economics, Finance and Credit, Jurisprudence, Information Security, and International Relations, all of which are interrelated areas of financial security.

The international competition was held in the Sirius Federal Territory of the Russian Federation and was distinguished by its interesting schedule. Within the framework of the International Olympiad, participants participated in thematic training sessions, interactive games, and meetings with experts on financial security. Moreover, an exhibition of specialized higher education institutions in Financial Security was held, and the participants got acquainted with the opportunities offered by higher education institutions.

According to the results of the competition, fourth year student of International Finance major of International University for the Humanities and Development University Begli Berdimyradov, fifth year student of International Economic Relations major of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Meylis Hojamyradov became the II degree Diploma Prize winners in the direction of "Economy, Finance and Credit". Student of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management Dayanch Hydyrov was awarded with the II degree Diploma in the direction of "International Relations". Other students of higher education institutions of Turkmenistan have received certificates of participation.
