Language Learning Department (English language)

Faculty Description

Language Learning Department is a language preparatory body of the International University for the Humanities and Development. It offers a 1-year English course to students who are in need of boosting their language skills before they start doing the undergraduate programme where English is the only medium of instruction.

As per CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for languages) each student is to start with A2 (elementary) level and reach B2 (intermediate) by the end of the academic year. Apart from the main course, students take intensive English for Specific Purposes course which aims at providing with specialty-related terms and notions.
