Successful results at Essay Competition on International Humanitarian Law

The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted an awarding ceremony on May 8, 2024, to recognize the winners of the International Essay Competition titled "The Role of the International Humanitarian Law in the Support of Peace and Safety on the Planet."

Organized by the Institute of International Relations, the competition saw an active participation from the higher educational institutions of Central Asia including the International University for the Humanities and Development.

According to the results, 3rd year student of International Private Law major Merdan Charyyev achieved the 1st place, and 4th year student of International Public Law major Novruz Nurberdiyev achieved 3rd place on this competition, demonstrating insightful perspectives on the competition's topic.

In addition, 2nd year student of International Relations and World Politics major Servi Nuryyeva, 2nd year student of International Public Law major Mengli Charyyeva, and LLD student of Philosophy major Mehriya Rozyyeva received incentive places for their essays.

The competition's jury assessed submissions based on knowledge of international humanitarian law, originality of ideas, relevance to the topic, and quality of presentation.

The winners were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts during the ceremony, underscoring the importance of their contributions to advancing understanding and awareness of International Humanitarian Law principles.

The IUHD community extends heartfelt congratulations to the winners and wish them continued success in their academic pursuits and endeavors.
