In the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, under the leadership of our esteemed Arkadagly Hero Serdar, significant work is being carried out to develop our Independent, permanently Neutral Motherland.

As a result of the wise policy pursued by our esteemed President, great importance is attached to the development of the national educational system, including higher professional education, in accordance with the requirements of the times. Setting ambitious goals, state educational documents are being prepared and effectively implemented. In this context, the tasks defined in the “Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052” and its Action Plan for 2026–2030 make it possible to enhance the quality and content of higher professional education in our country in line with internationally recognized indicators.

In the present era, one of the crucial directions determining the sustainable development of society, its spiritual and cultural potential, and its future is the improvement of the educational system. Education is not only a means of teaching scientific information, theoretical knowledge, and practical skills to the younger generation, but also an important school of life that shapes an individual's worldview, moral principles, cultural standards, and social outlook.

In the modern educational system of Turkmenistan, special attention is paid to the harmonious combination of education and upbringing, the comprehensive development of youth, and the formation of their high moral qualities. In this regard, developing humanistic values is one of the essential conditions ensuring the spiritual integrity of society, the continuity of generations, and the active participation of youth in social life.

One of the primary and basic conditions for developing humanistic values is to ensure the unity of education and upbringing. Every discipline taught in an educational institution not only enriches the professional knowledge of young people but also influences their culture of thinking, outlook on life, and personal development as individuals.

In higher education institutions, alongside developing students' scientific worldviews, it is necessary to foster their skills of independent thinking, drawing conclusions, respecting diverse viewpoints, and maintaining a culture of dialogue. Another important direction of developing humanistic values in the educational system of Turkmenistan is the harmonious integration of national values with universal human values. These values are widely reflected in the life experience of the people, their traditions, folklore, classical literature, and the works of great thinkers.

The young generation’s respect for national cultural heritage helps them understand their historical roots, national identity, and social responsibility. At the same time, it is important for modern youth to become acquainted with various aspects of world culture and to respect the traditions and cultures of other nations. The role of the teacher is particularly vital in fostering humanistic values. In addition to being an educator, the teacher is one of the key figures influencing the spiritual and moral development of the young generation.

In such an environment, the teacher acts not merely as an information provider, but as a mentor guiding the student's scientific research, creative abilities, and personal growth.

One of the major tasks of the higher education system is to cultivate civic responsibility in future specialists. The progress of society depends not only on economic and technological capabilities, but also on the number of educated, active, and responsible citizens.

Students’ active participation in social activities, scientific-practical conferences, cultural events, creative competitions, and various educational and upbringing initiatives contributes to broadening their social outlook. During such events, young people acquire essential life skills such as teamwork, exchanging ideas, jointly searching for solutions to problems, and achieving common goals.

Nowadays, science and technology are advancing rapidly. The widespread use of digital technologies, electronic educational resources, and modern teaching methods further expands educational opportunities in higher education institutions.

Under these conditions, along with integrating technologies into the educational process, it is essential to preserve its humanistic essence. Personal interaction with the teacher, mentoring, and taking into account the unique capabilities of the pupil or student play a crucial role in this process.

Various pedagogical methods can be utilized to foster humanistic values in higher education institutions. In particular, methods such as dialogue-based learning, teamwork, discussions, scientific debates, collaborative problem-solving, creative assignments, and case studies increase student engagement.

During lessons, teachers should respect the individuality of each student, listen to their opinions, encourage their desire to learn, and create conditions for them to fully realize their potential. Such an approach strengthens the humanistic nature of the educational process.

Developing humanistic values in the educational system of Turkmenistan is one of the priority directions of modern educational and pedagogical work. This direction aims not only to provide the younger generation with high-quality education, but also to shape them into spiritually rich, morally sound individuals who are devoted to national values, respectful of universal human principles, and conscious of their responsibility to society.

Thus, the main objective of a modern higher education institution is not limited to preparing professionally qualified youth, but also extends to developing well-rounded, highly cultured, humanistic, and responsible individuals capable of making a worthy contribution to the development of society.

Humanistic values serve as the spiritual pillar of the younger generation. Developing them through education, reinforcing them through upbringing, and instilling them in daily life through personal example are crucial endeavors oriented toward the future of society. Therefore, continuing scientific and methodological research in this field, widely implementing effective pedagogical practices in higher education institutions, and supporting the creative and social potential of youth remain vital tasks.

We express our deep gratitude to our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who create all conditions for us, the teachers, to work hard and fruitfully. May Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar enjoy good health and long lives! May all their noble deeds always meet with great success!
