4th Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students concludes with the remarkable achievements

The IV Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students (OMOUS - 2024) concluded on March 8, 2024, at the International University for the Humanities and Development, marking the end of a journey filled with intellectual rigor and outstanding accomplishments.

At the closing ceremony, team leaders of universities, esteemed jury members, and enthusiastic student participants took the stage to express their gratitude for the marvelous organization of this International Mathematical Olympiad. The speakers commended the organizers and volunteers for their tireless efforts in ensuring the smooth organization of OMOUS 2024.

Drawing participants from across the globe, the international event witnessed over a hundred students representing nations such as the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, China, Bulgaria, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and approximately 390 local students, all competing in a spirit of academic excellence.

With a sense of solemnity and pride, the winners of OMOUS 2024 were honored with medals, diplomas, and bouquets of flowers, recognizing their outstanding achievements in the field of mathematics. The ceremony concluded with a festive concert presented by the talented students of IUHD, adding a touch of joy to the occasion.

In addition to the rigorous competition, participants had the opportunity to explore the captivating sights of Ashgabat, immersing themselves in the rich cultural heritage of the city. From museums to shopping centers, recreational spots to the historic Nusay (Nisa) memorial complex, participants discovered the vibrant essence of Turkmenistan's culture.

As the IV Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students draws to a close, participants depart with cherished memories and a renewed commitment to the pursuit of knowledge and excellence. The event not only celebrates academic achievement but also underscores the importance of collaboration, exploration, and cultural exchange in shaping a brighter future for all.
