Gurbandurdy Gurbandurdyyev and Medine Muhammedova, students of the International University for the Humanities and Development (IUHD), have returned from a successful academic exchange program at Hanyang University in the Republic of Korea. The students completed their one-year exchange program in December 2023 and are currently continuing their studies at IUHD.

During their time at Hanyang University, Gurbandurdyyev and Muhammedova immersed themselves in a diverse array of courses, expanding their knowledge across various disciplines. The subjects they delved into included Korean Language and Culture, Artificial Intelligence, Advertising and Public Relations, Western Culture, Contemporary Japanese Society, Bioarcheology, and Forensic Anthropology.

Apart from their academic pursuits, the students actively engaged in cultural and sports activities, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere at Hanyang University. They played a role in organizing activities aimed at helping international students adjust to college life and daily routines in Korea.

In a ceremonial manner, the university authorities at Hanyang University awarded certificates to the accomplished students upon the successful completion of their exchange program.

Expressing her sentiments about the experience, Medine Muhammedova shared, “Studying in the Republic of Korea was a fascinating experience. Learning alongside both international and Korean students provided me with valuable insights into international communication and cultural exchange. I appreciate the opportunity to make new friends and cherish wonderful memories. My heartfelt thanks go to the International University for the Humanities and Development and Hanyang University for providing us with such enriching study opportunities.”

Gurbandurdy Gurbandurdyyev, currently studying in his 2nd year of bachelor's degree in International Public Law, and Medine Muhammedova, in her 2nd year of bachelor's degree in International Relations and World Politics major, have seamlessly integrated their international experiences into their ongoing academic journeys at IUHD. Their successful completion of the exchange program not only highlights their academic achievements but also showcases the commitment of IUHD to providing enriching global opportunities for its students.
