International University for the Humanities and Development Commences Second Semester with Tribute to Magtymguly Pyragy

The second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year at the International University for the Humanities and Development commenced with a profound tribute to the renowned Turkmen poet and philosopher, Magtymguly Pyragy. The inaugural lesson, titled "The Treasury of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy," aimed to impart knowledge about the life, creative contributions, and literary legacy of the great thinker.

Held in the university's conference hall and across all auditoriums, the lesson was dedicated to the motto of the year 2024 in Turkmenistan, emphasizing the admiration, devotion, and respect for Magtymguly Pyragy's internationally recognized creative achievements. The event sought to not only promote Magtymguly Pyragy's works worldwide but also instill these values in the younger generation, fostering a spirit of admiration for the great poet's contributions.

During the lesson, the efforts of the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan to cultivate a well-educated, scientific, healthy, and broad-minded generation in the Revival of the New Era of Powerful State were widely discussed. The commitment to studying and restoring the rich history, cultural heritage, and world-class creations of influential figures, such as Magtymguly Pyragy, was highlighted as a crucial step in developing a competent, patriotic, and hardworking younger generation with high moral principles.

The National Leader of the Turkmen People – our Hero Arkadag, showcased his poetic genius in a new poem titled "The Treasury of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy." This composition, a delightful gift to citizens on the verge of celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of the revered poet-thinker, delved into the spiritual greatness of Magtymguly Pyragy. The poem serves as a prelude to the upcoming festivities and large-scale events scheduled for the international celebration of the "The Treasury of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy" in 2024.

The students and teachers of the International University for the Humanities and Development contributed to the tribute by expressively reading the Hero Arkadag's poem during the first lesson. The recitation created a wonderful atmosphere, fostering educational and informative discussions and setting the tone for a semester filled with appreciation for Turkmenistan's rich cultural heritage.
