On 3 March 2026, English language teachers from leading universities of Turkmenistan participated in the symposium “Embedding Inclusive Methodologies in PRESETT” held at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages in Ashgabat.

The event was organised within the framework of the Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia (AELLCA) programme, delivered by the British Council and funded by UK International Development.

The programme featured an inspiring keynote by Dr Sarah Khan from Nottingham Trent University, interactive discussions, and collaborative activities focused on inclusive syllabus development and lesson planning.

The International University for the Humanities and Development was proudly represented by Orazsoltan Annamyradova, Jahan Babayeva, and Eneniyaz Orunova, who actively contributed to the discussions and shared valuable professional insights.

All participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their contribution.

This event marks another important step in strengthening academic collaboration and enhancing the quality of English language teacher education in Turkmenistan.
