The round table dedicated to the 15th Economic Cooperation Organization Summit

On 28th of November, in the capital city of Ashgabat, at the new luxurious hotel “Garagum” with multipurpose business centre, the 15th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) has taken place under the chairmanship of our highly esteemed President. This high-level summit again visually demonstrated the initiative and responsible approach of neutral Turkmenistan to issues of development of wide constructive cooperation both in bilateral, and multilateral formats, within the limits of the authoritative international organisations. Within the limits of programs and the projects realised by ECO, the participants of the summit highlighted about the importance of expanding cooperation in such areas as technologies, communications, financial and bank sectors and the intensification of investment activities in the Member States, creation of free trade and economic zones, formation of new economic corridors and establishment of partnerships in the field of sustainable energy, including renewable energy sources. It is important to note that the students and instructors of IUHD have also took part in this international event alongside with the press and mass media representatives of foreign countries in online format. They gained experience from this event and gave their interviews on this summit to the national mass media. And the round table dedicated to this event was recorded at the studio of IUHD in cooperation with Turkmenistan TV channel. The instructor of International Economics and Management faculty, Aynur Garlyyeva and the 2nd year student of International Public Law major, Nowruz Nurberdiyev has discussed the participation of our students and instructors in this event and exchanged their views on the high-level summit and its future benefits for regional and international cooperation, further sustainable development of the national economy.
