On October 25, 2024, a special ceremony was held at International University for the Humanities and Development (IUHD) to recognize the remarkable efforts of the university’s dedicated volunteers. These volunteers played an invaluable role in ensuring the success of the International Forum titled “Interrelation of Times and Civilizations – the Basis of Peace and Development,” which took place on October 11, 2024.
The forum, a key highlight in the 300th anniversary celebrations of the great Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi, was a prestigious global event attended by heads of state and government from 10 countries. The gathering also saw participation from representatives of international and regional organizations, diplomats, scientists, cultural figures, and a wide range of media outlets. The side conferences in the framework of that forum were held in the Higher Educations Institutions including the International University for the Humanities and Development. The event emphasized the enduring legacy of Magtymguly Fragi, a symbol of Turkmen culture and wisdom whose teachings continue to inspire efforts toward peace and development.
IUHD volunteers played a crucial role in the successful organization of the forum. From welcoming delegations to facilitating diplomatic discussions, they demonstrated professionalism in handling protocol and diplomatic correspondence. Their exceptional contributions were formally recognized during the ceremony, where they were awarded Certificates of Appreciation by the Rector of International University for the Humanities and Development.
The speakers Arslan Charyyev, Acting Head of International Relations department and Gutlymurat Kadyrov, an instructor of that department expressed their deep appreciation in the volunteers’ accomplishments, emphasizing how they represented their university and Motherland with distinction on the global stage.
At the close of the ceremony, the participants conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the marvelous opportunities created for youth, especially for the strengthening, supporting and encouraging the role of youth in international cooperation. They wished to Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar long live, sound health and success in their endeavors.
